Wow! What a way to start the day!

The main reason I had started this blog was so I could enter a contest through one of my favorite online stores cutcardstock.com. The contest didn't require a blog but I thought having a blog made it more personal/professional. Imagine how I reacted when I read the email that I had won!

WOW!! I will be their guest designer for the month of January but the news doesn't stop there. They will also be sending me merchandise from their store so I can design some more cards for them to showcase during the month of January.

What a way to start off the New Year, right!

Thanks Norma and Cutcardstock! I can't wait to begin designing!

Here's my winning card:

Congratulations! It must be a great AWESOME feeling you have. I know I would :-)

Thanks for stopping by at my blog and your recommendation finding the right paper trimmer. I love what you suggested in terms of style, what it can do and how much it costs. Unfortunately, it's not available at where I currently live :-( First of all, not many places carry paper trimmers. I only found one bookstore that carries paper trimmers. Coincidentally, the brand is CARL (glad that you mentioned in your comment!). But the same style that you suggested only comes in cm/mm measurement and not in inch :-( and it costs about $80 - $100 (depending on the currency rate). And no coupon/ discount ever offered for something like this (Oh how I miss Michaels). Today, I ended up buying something like this; http://www.carlacraft-hobby.com/frames.asp?Category=Paper+Trimmer. It's the only one that has inch measurement in addition to cm/mm. It costs me about $30-$40. Sadly, it doesn't have a swing arm ruler, like what I saw in some online stores. Well, at least it cuts better than my old one and I can continue making cards ... until I find my dreamed professional paper trimmer. Sorry for the long comment.
